I am a surfer and after my first trip to Costa Rica 8 years ago I knew I would have a hard time leaving. I am Canadian but have my residency here in Costa Rica. I grew up in Toronto and lived in British Columbia teaching snowboarding for 10 years before I settled here. I was on a surf trip in 2004 when I bought my first piece of property in Costa Rica.
